Ferzana formerly was a VJ and hosted music videos on The Mix for artists from James Blunt to Trina and Kelly Rowland.
Ferzana then moved onto being an extra in films such as Mike Leigh's Happy Go Lucky and How to lose friends alienate people with Kirsten Dunst and Meghan Fox. So she is quite accustomed to turning around on set and seeing Jeff Bridges or watching Gillian Anderson from the X-files perform a scene. She even watched Matt Damon perform the scene at Waterloo Station in The Bourne Ultimatum.
Ferzana has currently entered her own shortfilm for the Raindance Film Festival called The Joker's Wife: Mini Movie. It contains scenes of Robert De Niro on stage in a world exclusive interview in Birmingham in 2018. Ferzana reenacts The Joker by playing The Joker's Wife herself.
Ferzana studied Community Theatre and Applied Theatre at Birmingham School of Acting when it was first launched in 2007, before she got a place on a BA(Hons) Dance course at Kingston University. On induction, she was given the chance to dance at the rehearsals for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics 2012.
Ferzana is in the purple v-neck in the scene below.
Although born and bred Birmingham, Ferzana travels to London for charity events such as the Big Fashion Walk for The Children's Society last summer. She also volunteers for sporting events locally such as the HSBC/British Cycling Let's Ride.
Ferzana is delighted to join community radio and very happy to be part of Brumside Radio Team. Ferzana learnt radio skills whilst training at BBC Pebble Mill in conjunction with Journalism Techniques and Media Skills course in 1998. However, digital technology as such did not exist then. So it's all new and all good.
